How it all began
Our story is that of two friends with an entrepreneurial mind and a heart for jewellery. Philippe was born and raised in the diamond and jewellery industry. He has been working as a diamond trader in Antwerp for the past 15 years. Timour brought modern technologies to the traditional craft by creating a digital environment, allowing for a new approach to the jewellery shopping experience.
A couple of years ago, more and more of our friends were getting married and starting a new chapter in their lives. They came to us asking if we could help them out with the purchase of their very first diamond ring.
We soon realised that the purchase of a diamond comes with a lot of difficulty, confusion and sometimes even frustration. We were often amazed by the amount of misinformation our friends were given about diamonds and precious gemstones. Misinformation like this frequently causes people to have doubts and unnecessary questions as they buy a diamond ring and some of these doubts continue even after the purchase.
Purchasing an engagement ring or any other piece of fine jewellery is quite an investment and a big decision you do not want to take lightly. We believe that everyone deserves to understand what they are buying and why they are paying a certain price for it. That's what led us to create Beldiamond.

Philippe is our diamond and jewellery expert. He is a 3rd generation diamantaire and has more than 15 years of experience as a diamond trader. Philippe will help you find the perfect gemstone and personally guide you through the process of designing your jewellery. Philippe is also a proud father and enthusiastic basketball lover.
Co-founder & CEO
Timour
Timour is our CEO. He works to establish a new kind of jewellery experience that is highly personal and tailored to our customers. By creating the best possible online experience, Timour wants to make the life of our clients just a little bit easier. In his spare time, Timour enjoys tennis, traveling and everything related to technology.
Marketing Specialist
Maria
Maria is responsible for marketing and communication. She takes care of Beldiamond’s press relations and works hard to keep our visual identity up to date. She loves social media and organizes her life around Pinterest boards. In her spare time you can find here wandering around an antique’s market or enjoying a candle light instrumental concerts with friends.

Gerd
Gerd is responsible for sales and customer service. Thanks to her master’s degree in multilingual communication, she is able to advise our international clients in the best possible way. Aside from her successful career in the diamond industry, she enjoys fine dining, loves being a working mom and is passionate about traveling with her family.
Jewellery Designer
Victoria
Victoria brings a lot of creativity to Beldiamond. She is our jewellery designer and you will often find her creating sketches or 3D models of engagement rings and other pieces of jewellery. Victoria loves gemmology, reading a good book, painting with watercolours, playing chess and practicing yoga.
